WCPF Interclub Celebration:
This annual celebration is in essence the “Oscars” of our club calendar year. All the Western Cape photographic clubs are invited to participate in this showcase. Traditionally, this event was in a competition format, but during 2023 a collective decision was made to celebrate as a community rather than competing. This resulted in the first ever Western Cape Celebration of Photography Exhibition which was hosted by CTPS. Click HERE for the article by Nicol du Toit on the 2023 showcase held at Groot Constantia.
The 2024 event will be hosted by the Paarl Photographic Club at the end of October. Stay tuned for futher updates!
Golden Apple Award:
The top photographers in clubs are regularly honoured with medals and certificates, but the people who keep the clubs and competitions running smoothly, often have to make do without accolades. The Golden Apple award acknowledges the member/s who go above and beyond in serving their club, the WCPF or the photography community in general.
